After I got out of the Marine Corps we moved back home, the DC area. I applied to a lot of agencies and the US Capitol Police were the first ones who said "Yes". I have been here for 14 1/2 years now, and have had a pretty varied career. I started at the Capitol Division, then went to the First Responder Unit, back to the Capitol, got promoted to Sgt, went to the Senate Division, then to Communications. Went to Patrol Division on the midnight shift, then to the Visitor's Center when it was still a construction site. Did the opening and then there was a major reorganization and I came back to midnights at the Capitol. I am eleigible to retire in 6 years, so I will have to see what happens.
How are things down there?

Were you the skinny Marine, or the one that ate bugs...lol. You remember M law..Everybody on here knows who I am.
Sounds like you have had a great career up their. Me, I'm still here at Dorchester County where I went after leaving Berkeley. I retired from the Railroad in Oct. of 2006, and went full time here. I'm now in the jail. Not where I want to be. I hope to get back to the academy for my LE1, and go back to the road.
Hope you had a safe and great Christmas. Write back soon and let me know which one you are...

There were four of us (Marines) there. Prunier and Law were down at the Naval Station, and Brian Bills and I were up at the Weapons Station. I saw Law at FLETC in Ga in 95, he was going through the US Fed Bureau of Prisons Corrections class. I had heard several years ago Brian Bills was with Dorchester Co.
I 'm glad things are going well down there. I have heard that the size of Berkeley and Dorchester SO's have grown.
